For security and compliance reasons, MFA resets cannot be done through self-service. Your manager must email IT to open a formal ticket on your behalf.
Step-by-step process
Contact your direct manager Tell them you need an MFA reset (lost phone, new device, app reinstalled, or changed phone number) and that company policy requires them to submit the request.
Ask your manager to email IT They should send the request to the IT (it@peopleincfr.org).
Exact information the email must contain (copy-paste this for your manager):
- Subject: MFA Reset Request – [Your Full Name]
- Your full legal name
- Your company email address
- Type of reset needed: • Reset / re-enroll authenticator app (Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator, Duo, Authy, etc.) • Update phone number for SMS/voice codes • Both
- Short description of the issue and business impact
- Manager’s approval: “I approve this MFA reset for [Your Full Name]”
Important: Ask your manager to CC you on the email so you stay informed.
