Use this guide when: an application page does not load, a course is blank, or you see errors such as “404 Not Found,” “Bad request,” or “openresty.” It is also useful when the same site works on another approved computer.
If the message says your password, account, access, or verification code is wrong: skip to the support table below. Clearing cache does not unlock an account or change permissions.
1. Rule out a connection or wrong-account problem
- Save any unfinished work. Open another ordinary website to confirm the internet works.
- Close the application tab and reopen it using the normal People Incorporated link. Check that you are using your own work account, especially on a shared computer.
- If available, test the same application in another approved browser or work computer. Record whether the problem follows your account or only affects one device.
2. Clear cached files first
- In Chrome, open the three-dot menu and select Delete browsing data. In Edge, go to Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Clear browsing data → Choose what to clear. On a Windows PC, Ctrl + Shift + Delete also opens this window.
- Choose All time. Select Cached images and files. Leave passwords, autofill, and browsing history unselected.
- For this first attempt, leave cookies unselected so you avoid unnecessary sign-outs. Select Delete data in Chrome or Clear now in Edge.
- Close every window of that browser, reopen it, and test the application again.
This cache-only fix resolved documented ADP sign-in/page errors on shared Chromebooks.
3. If a loading problem continues, clear cookies too
For persistent loading/session errors, repeat the process with Cookies and other site data selected as well as cached files. This signs you out of websites and may discard unsaved web-form work. Make sure you can sign back in first. Close all browser windows and test again. Clearing cookies was also recommended for Relias course-loading issues.
4. Contact the team that owns the problem
| Application or symptom | Contact |
|---|---|
| ADP account, password, timekeeping, or grouping | adp@peopleincfr.org |
| Relias account, course assignment, or course problem after browser checks | chudson@peopleincfr.org |
| iCentrix account, permissions, or missing verification code | icentrix@peopleincfr.org |
| Multiple unrelated sites fail on one work device, or the device/internet itself is failing | People Incorporated IT ticket |
Send the exact error, application name, device/browser, whether another device works, and the checks tried. Never include a password or verification code. If clearing data is needed repeatedly, report how often; repeated clearing is a workaround, not a permanent fix.
Still need help?
Submit an IT support ticket and include the application, exact error, work device/browser, comparison test, and steps already tried. If a previous ticket is resolved or closed, start a new ticket and mention its number.
