Adobe / EchoSign: Which account should I choose when signing in?

Signing in to Adobe or EchoSign? Choose Personal until IT moves your account.

We are updating Adobe to use your People Incorporated work account and Microsoft 365 sign-in. This change is happening in stages and applies to Adobe services, including EchoSign (Adobe Acrobat Sign), Acrobat, and Creative Cloud.

Unless IT has told you that your account has been migrated, select Personal or Personal account.

You do not need to submit an IT ticket just because you see this account-choice screen.

What to do

  1. Open Adobe or EchoSign and enter your work email address.
  2. If Adobe asks you to choose an account, select Personal or Personal account.
  3. Sign in with your existing Adobe password.
  4. If another screen asks you to choose a profile, select People Incorporated or the organization profile you normally use for work.

Which button should I choose?

Example guide — the exact wording and layout may vary.

Account choiceWhen to use it
Personal / Personal accountChoose this until IT confirms your account has been migrated.
Company or school / BusinessChoose this after IT confirms your migration. Continue with your work Microsoft 365 sign-in.

Why does it say Personal if I use Adobe for work?

“Personal” is Adobe’s label for the existing account sign-in method. You can still use your work email address and your existing work Adobe access. You do not need to create a new account or use a personal email address.

Already chose the other button?

If your account has not been migrated, go back or sign out, then sign in again and choose Personal account.

When will I use my work account?

IT will move existing accounts over time and let you know when your sign-in instructions change. Until then, continue using your existing Adobe sign-in.

Do I need an IT ticket?

No ticket is needed for the Personal / Business account-choice prompt itself. Follow the steps above. If you still cannot access the Adobe service you need, receive a license or payment error, or cannot find your work files after choosing the correct account and profile, contact IT through the normal support process. Do not purchase a new subscription to resolve the prompt.
